The Railway Waltz was originally performed by a military band, the 3rd Irish Dragoon Guards, to celebrate the opening of Lincoln Central Station in 1846. The Beevor Band is one of the last remaining Lincoln based brass bands associated with an industrial heritage. We invited them to perform live at Usher Gallery, Lincoln 2011.
